Message	you try the Lucas oil stabilizer and I feel certain if you truly just have a lifter issue this should quiet them. Also the Zmax additive has shown to really bind to metal. I know there will be a bunch of criticism about this but I've had great results on my Z with 136k miles, no smoke, no noise, and still making plenty of power.
